Orly Lauffer
Calligraphy & Illuminations

Reminicent of the colors of royality, the golds and purples of this magnificent Ketuba are in keeping with the tradition that a bride and groom are a king and queen. The border is an inticate Arabesque with a lilac vine growing around it. Isaiah's words surround the text; "There will yet be heard in the cities of Judea and the courtyards of Jerusalem the sound of joy, the sound of happiness, the voice of the groom and the voice of the bride." The royal city of Jerusalem graces the bottom of the text.
